Best £6m-£7m Midfielders FPL

We’ve identified and ranked the best budget midfielders in FPL who could still score you tons of points.

Best £6m-£7m Midfielders FPL

With premium assets costing even more this year, the need for cheaper midfielders who are still able to produce has never been higher.

For those looking for much cheaper punts, we recommend checking out some of our many budget enablers articles in the Game Week Tips section. Or if you are looking at going even cheaper, at the £4.5m range, we were still able to identify a few gems who could see meaningful minutes this season.

But, if you would like some more meat on the bone, then the £6m-£7m midfielders range is an absolute treasure trove. It is worth noting that with this increased budget, there are not many £6m midfielders who even come close to the 2 tiers above. So if you are interested in that price range, then be sure to check out our budget enablers £5m-£6m Midfielders article.

But without further ado, we present to you, our choices for the best £6m-£7m midfielders in FPL for the 2025/26 season.

Morgan Rogers (£7m)

We kick this list off with perhaps our favourite option from the £7m price range in Morgan Rogers. THE Budget Enabler king from the 2025/26 season, registering a whopping 8 goals and 11 assists while priced at just £5m. Clocking in an xGA from last season of 0.43, Rogers could still prove an absolute steal, even at his increased price from last year.

Rogers is as nailed as they come, durable and has a fantastic set of fixtures to start the season. No need to overthink this pick at all. If you have £7.0m to spend on a midfielder, he’s your man.

Justin Kluivert (£7m)

Another great option at the £7.0m price range is non-another than Justin Kluivert. A key contributor to Bournemouth’s high flying season, Kluivert found himself just 2 short of Rogers total G/A tally in 8 less games. With a whopping 0.69 xGA per 90, there is nothing to dislike about him from a production standpoint.

His presence on penalties and set pieces should also provide owners with a solid floor.

The main drawback for Kluivert was how often he was rotated last season. He started a few games on the bench and found his minutes frequently managed, even in the games he started. When he is on the field though he is an absolute FPL stud, and with great fixtures to start the season (After GW1), there’s no reason he can’t repeat his fireworks from last year.

Antoine Semenyo (£7m)

Another great option, and perhaps safer from a minutes standpoint than his teammate Kluivert. Despite registering a much lower xGA per 90 of 0.45, Semenyo made up for this by being durable and nailed minutes wise. This meant that despite not being on set pieces, he was still able to finish the season on a respectable 11 goals and 5 assists, just 1 goal and assist short of teammate Kluivert.

Semenyo is traditionally very direct and greedy, both boding very well for FPL owners. He ranked 8th in the league for total shots on target with 41, so its safe to say the chances will always be there for Semenyo. If you’re looking for less risky minutes than Kluivert, then Semenyo is a great place to start.

Iliman Ndiaye (£6.5m)

Ndiaye profiles as the boogeyman of the £6.5m midfielder range. A goal scorer by trade who bagged 9 last season. One of the cheapest penalty takers in FPL, on what should be an improved Everton side, in theory there is not much to dislike about Ndiaye.

In what is becoming a theme, Ndiaye also has great fixtures to begin the season. One notable thing about Ndiaye’s game is his all round game, he works hard off the ball and was in around the defensive contribution conversation. His performances also yielded strong bonus point potential, registering 21 throughout the season, so what’s not to like?

Well, his xGA per 90 of 0.33 is one of the lowest on this list, and it is worth noting this is pretty much all xG. His lack of production in the assist department is therefore slight cause for concern, but at the same time, given goals are more valuable, if a low xGA number could be divided in any way, Ndiayes 99% xG split is not bad.

Declan Rice (£6.5m)

The first foray into Defensive Contribution chasing comes in the form of Declan Rice. Now to limit Rice to this description would be slightly unfair given not just his presence on set pieces but also his proficiency at them. We all know how deadly Arsenal can be from set pieces so owning the taker of them is not a bad place to start.

However, where things get tasty, are his defensive contribution numbers. In the last 4 seasons, the highest defensive contribution scorer for an entire season was Declan rice with a whopping 62 points in the 22/23 season, with 2nd place also being Declan Rice on 54 the year prior. 3rd place was miles off with only 48.

Admittedly Rice role has shifted slightly since joining Arsenal. However, a lot of this can be credited to playing alongside Partey, who was no where near as active off the ball when compared with a Souček.

A man who is elite off the ball however, is Zubimendi, and the extra off the ball pressure Zubimendi provides could potentially see Rice near his Defensive Contribution stats from the past.

Mohamed Kudus

An FPL enigma. There is no doubting the talent of Mohamed Kudus, only the production, which in FPL terms is the be all and end all. However, his new home at Spurs could provide him with an increased opportunity to produce. Clearly the FPL community agree, as he is currently the 4th highest owned midfielder in the entire game at 24%.

Despite finishing 17th, Spurs were still within the top 10 for xG and are naturally a far more attacking team than West Ham. With Son leaving and Maddison looking likely to miss an extended amount of time, Kudus now find himself with plenty of minutes and plenty of goal involvements to fill.

Naturally there is the risk that spurs don’t emulate their attacking nature under new management, but the potential ceiling for Kudus at Spurs is huge, and at £6.5m he is worth a punt.

Ismaila Sarr

Crystal Palace have started their season off with a bang, and at the heart of it was Ismaila Sarr. Registering a goal, assist and 90 minutes against the Premier League champions is about as good a start to a season as one can hope for.

With an incumbent xGI of 0.6, there is not much to dislike about Sarr. Personally, he is my favourite at this price range, and I promise I was saying that pre–Community Shield! Check our Haaland, Salah, Palmer and Isak Super Draft if you don’t believe me!

He is naturally very attacking and if the Liverpool game is anything to go by, we can expect to see him occupying plenty of dangerous positions throughout the season, and clearly against good opposition as well. Don’t overthink it.

Savinho

With a move to spurs looming, Savinho could be another great option at the £7m price range. With an xGI of 0.61 per 90 in 2024/25, Savinho is active as they come when it comes to goal involvements. The only thing hampering him last season was minutes and Pep Roulette. As when he was on the field, he looked as dangerous as anyone on the pitch.

The talent is clear to see, and we can naturally expect Savinho to command far more minutes than he otherwise would at City. This could be a really sneaky shout to keep your eyes on!
