If you want to play any formation, it should be because of the overall strength of your players in each position group and their fixtures in all likelihood. If you wanted to play a 3-4-3 for example, then all you would do is simply select 3 Defenders, 4 Midfielders, and 3 Forwards to start in your lineup. You would therefore be benching 2 of your available 5 Defenders, 1 of your available 5 Midfielders and 2 of your available 3 Forwards. To select which players are in your lineup in this formation, 3-4-3 is the example we’re using here, simply just substitute in and out the players you do and don’t want to start.
