We bring you the best Football Manager wonderkids who could provide serious value for money in FPL during the 25/26 season!
You all know the template fantasy players. The ones picked by 50% of managers because every fantasy football expert screams at you to get them. I’m not here for that. I’m here for the players hardly anyone’s thought of… the wonderkids owned by 0.5% of managers who’ll make a complete mockery of that by the end of the season!
These are the players that’ll give you the edge over your mates and the rest of the FPL world:
No, not that El Hadji Diouf. This is a 20-year-old left wing-back who’s just joined West Ham for £19m. Seven goals and two assists from wing-back in the Czech First League (yes, the same league Soucek and Coufal came from) is a very promising return for a defender. He’s a physical, athletic player whose style should translate well to the Premier League. And in Graham Potter’s system, that could get very interesting.

If Kroupi nails down a starting spot, or even just a regular rotation role, he could make a mockery of his price. Bournemouth’s recruitment has been exceptional recently, and under Iraola they’ve been electric in attack. Kroupi scored 22 goals last season in France’s second tier. Yes, it’s a big step up, but Bournemouth’s scouting has earned some trust. At that price, it’s worth a punt.

There’s been so much hype around Vuskovic. He’s been described as a “generational” talent and bagged a goal and an assist on his Spurs debut. Yes, Tottenham’s defence was a disaster under Postecoglou, but this is a new era under Thomas Frank. If Spurs tighten up at the back and Vuskovic proves in pre-season he’s ready to start, this could be one of the easiest picks of the season.

This could be the year Lewis-Skelly explodes as an FPL option. Last season he only managed 37 points, but if he claims the starting left-back spot and Arsenal keep up their defensive solidity, he’s a great shout. He’s already popping up in predicted XIs for the start of the season, though Calafiori and Zinchenko are still strong competition.

They say players are always better in their second season and 22-year-old Anderson could step up massively this year. With Anthony Elanga gone and Morgan Gibbs-White’s future uncertain, Anderson’s eight goal contributions last season could be just the start. If pushed further forward, he could easily improve on that, making him a sneaky good pick at his price. The new Defensive Contribution points also now make a player like Anderson more valuable in FPL – they could add a potential 30-50 extra points to his total this season.

This might end up being one of the biggest bargains ever, even if Manchester United stay a shambles. Heaven has impressed in Ruben Amorim’s system, and even if he doesn’t get regular minutes straight away, at £4.0m he’s still a solid budget option if you want to splash the cash elsewhere.

Nwaneri is still a steal at £5.5m. If he locks down a starting spot, he’ll be an absolute bargain. Last season he racked up six goal contributions in just 11 starts; a phenomenal return for an 18-year-old in the Premier League. He’s not quite as cheap as last year, but still very much worth a punt… once he stops picking up silly reds.
