We have all been playing around with GW1 FPL drafts since the game launched a few weeks ago. Playing around with various team builds. But the Gameweek 1 FPL deadline is merely hours away and all managers need to have their teams set and ready to go by 6:30pm BST.

Sam FPL GW1 Team Reveal:

Locked:

• Sanchez and Dubravka
• Williams, Konsa, Richards alongside Porro (or Van de Ven) rotate very well.
• Salah and Palmer
• Watkins
• Wirtz over Bruno due to the schedule

Late Changes:

• Ndiaye to Dewsbury Hall to release funds to upgrade Van de Ven to Porro.
• Wood to Mateta as I trust Mateta and Crystal Palace attacking system more than Nottingham Forest.

GW1 Captain:

• The Egyptian king Mo Salah as usual for his GW1 masterpiece

GW2 Plans:

Every team will be on my watchlist. Many surprises can happen early in the season, new coaches, new signings, and new atmosphere.

• Plan is to be flexible and ready.
• No transfers booked
• Defensive contributions will be analyzed carefully
• Chip strategy: No plan for early activation. Waiting for extra information during the opening weeks.
